Otorrino/Audiologist

Después de una semana sin entradas, aquí os traigo mi último trabajo. Es un encargo de una otorrina del Niño Jesús que quería un muñeco suyo, con espejo, bata y todo. Me ha llevado su tiempo hacer cada capa de ropa pero ¡por fin está terminada!

Aprovecho para comentar que cualquier petición personalizada que queráis, podéis hacerla. Ya veis que me basta con una foto o una descripción física para hacer un muñeco a vuestra imagen y semejanza.

After a week of no posts, here I bring my last craft. This order was placed by a audiologist from “El Niño Jesús” hospital which wanted a doll of her, with mirror and coat. It took me some time to crochet every layer of cloth but, it is finished at last!
I take the moment to coment every custom request is welcome. You see a picture or a physical description is enought to craft a doll at your own image.

Cromosomas/Chromosomes

La entrada de hoy va especialmente dedicada a los estudiantes de ciencias biológicas. Para los entendidos, estas son dos cromátidas en anafase con sobrecruzamiento en la segunda meiosis. 

Para los no tan entendidos, son las dos mitades de un cromosoma.

Bruja/Witch

¡Buenos días! Aquí os dejo un regalo que le hice a mi abuelo a principio de curso. Para que os hagáis una idea, coger a esta bruja es como tener en brazos a un niño de 1 año, no solo por el tamaño sino por el peso de semejante cantidad de lana y algodón. Mide unos 50 cm y cuesta, por tanto, 50€.

Mi abuelo la tiene colgada cerca de la ventana, supongo que para espantar a los pájaros y a los curiosos.

Good morning! Here I leave you my grandpa's birthday present I crocheted at the beggining of the year. To give you an idea, holding this witch is like holding a one-year-old baby in your arms, not only because of the size but because of the weight of such amount of wool and cotton. It is 50 cm (20 inches ) high and so it costs 50€ (43₤).

My granpa hung her close to the window, to scare away birds and noseys I guss.

Desdentao/Toothless

Hoy os traigo este peluche de Desdentao, el Furia Nocturna de "Cómo entrenar a tu dragón". De este ya me han hecho tres encargos, para pequeños y para no tan pequeños ;) Es una idea original para un regalo de cumpleaños.

Mide algo más de 30 cm de un ala a otra así que el precio asciende a 30€. En estas fotos aparece completamente negro, aunque también tengo por ahí la versión de Desdentao con la prótesis roja que Hipo le pone en la cola al final de la primera película.

Here I bring this Toothless plush, the Night Fury of the movie “How to train your Dragon”. I have been already asked for three of these, for the little ones and not so little ones ;) It's an original idea for a birthday present.


The plush is 30 cms long (12 inches) from one wing to the other so the price amounts to 30€ (25.8₤). In these pictures, the dragon appears completely black, though I also have a version of Toothless with the red prothesis Hiccup places in its tail by the ending of the first movie somewhere.

Cerdo de Angry Birds/Angry Birds Pig

En segundo lugar, es presento este cerdito del famoso juego de móvil de Angry Birds. Es bastante pequeño- cabe en la palma de la mano, como podéis ver en la foto-, y se vende por 10€.
Al igual que el creeper, este peluche presenta numerosas variaciones. Para quien conozca el juego, hay cerdos con corona, cerdos con casco, con mostacho, con lazo, con moratones... así que estoy abierta a sugerencias.

Secondly, I introduce this piggy from the famous game “Angry Brids”. It is pretty small- it fits in the palm of the hand, as you can see in the picture-, and it costs 10€ (8.6 ₤).
As the creeper, this plush is subject to variations. For those who know the game, there are pigs with crown, helmet, moustach, bow, bruises... so I'm open to suggestions.

¡Felices Reyes! Os presento este blog que no es otra cosa sino una forma de dar a conocer mis peluches. Están hechos con ganchillo y rellenos de algodón, y el precio depende de la altura y cantidad de lana utilizada.
Iré subiendo fotos de los encargos que me vayan haciendo, para que os hagáis una idea del resultado. Al ser esta una iniciativa todavía pequeña, las vías de pago se irán viendo a medida que avance el proyecto.
Empezamos con mi primera creación: un creeper de unos 20 cm para los fans de Minecraft. Este me lo encargaron en color verde pero, según me contó un chiquillo que manejaba mucho sobre el tema, los hay de varios colores según sus habilidades :) Es un original regalo de cumpleaños para ese amigo friki que todos tenemos. Fue vendido por 20€

Happy Three Kings! I present this blog which is nothing but a way of introducing my crochet dolls. They're filled with cotton and the price depends on the height and the amount of whool used for it.

I will be posting pictures of the placed orders, so that you can get an idea of the outcome. Being a small initiative, the manner of payment will be sorted out as this project develops.

We will start with my first creation: a 20 cm high (8 inches for our english friends) from Minecraft. This one was ordered in green but, as a little kiddo which pretty much mastered the subject, there are several colours according to their skills :) It is an original birthday present for that freak friend we all have. It was sold for 20€ (17₤).
